Kate’s Story
Kate was honored to receive the 2025 Betty Taylor Artist Award from the Community Foundation of Henderson County. With this award, Kate studied the healing power of art, one of her passions.
Kate has been creating art of some kind or another for most of her life (since those pasta necklaces in kindergarten!). Her jewelry springs from her passion for combining color, shape, texture, and meaning. Today, Kate is grateful to live in western North Carolina surrounded by Mama Nature’s beauty.
