See Your Dreams!
See Your Dreams!
I am most fortunate and grateful that I receive lots of gifts and inspiration in the DreamTime. The Muse whispers to me encouragements in the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes She tells me, “Get up! You’re ready!” and I get up and go to my studio to create something. Sometimes She drops an image in my mind as I continue to sleep.
I believe dreams are gifts from Spirit. And Spirit doesn’t speak English but instead speaks in images, which is why they are so deeply rich and layered.
One night recently, the Muse gifted me with an image of a new necklace. A couple of weeks later, Spirit gifted me with a hugely expansive dream, full of images of growth. I realized that they were connected: that necklace was to be the first in a new series “See Your Dreams!”
The image She gave me was of a necklace with a lorgnette as the pendant, mother of pearl (MOP), moonstone, mica, labradorite, and other beads full of mystery. MOP alludes to the ocean of meaning that dream images hold. MOP stacked buttons suggest the layers of dreams. Moonstone and labradorite refer to the intuitive and magical qualities of dreams. Faceted beads honor their many aspects. The vintage and antique lorgnettes are functional, but I recommend that you wear them folded to save them from catching on a table, etc. (And they are adjustable chains so they can be worn long enough to use at the theatre or opera. Or in your own private musings.)
This series is dedicated to each of us seeing and realizing our dreams: whether they spring from the subconscious during sleep, drift through our daydreams, or are held deep inside our conscious passions. One of my passions is creating art, and the Muse has most generously supported that!
What dream do you wish to see come true? See Your Dreams!
